Assist–Travel/Transport – Newycare

We provide safe, comfortable, and reliable transport assistance for:
- Medical and therapy appointments

- School, TAFE, or training programs
- Shopping trips and errands
- Social, community, and recreational activities

Our Support Services – Newycare
We assist individuals with everyday domestic tasks they may find difficult to manage alone, helping them maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
Our support includes:
- Dishwashing
- Changing bed linen
- Laundry and hanging clothes
- Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Dusting surfaces
- Emptying rubbish bins
- Vacuuming under beds, sofas, and high-traffic areas

Supported Independent Living (SIL) – Newycare
At Newycare, our SIL services are designed to support participants in living as independently as possible in a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment.
We offer a range of homes in Newcastle and surrounding areas, carefully matching each participant based on age, gender preferences, personality, and individual needs.
Participants maintain full choice and control—from choosing where and with whom they live, to deciding who supports them. Our SIL homes provide 24/7 assistance, with tailored staff-to-participant ratios (1:1 or 1:2) based on personal requirements.
We also encourage our residents to take part in daily living activities, build life skills, and connect with their community—helping them achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.
